Job Description Sheladia Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced International Team Leader for an upcoming EIB-funded highway construction supervision assignment in Georgia. The Team Leader will provide overall management and technical leadership for the supervision consultant team and support the Client in administering major civil works contracts. The position has an indicative input of 30 person-months during construction supervision and 30 person-months during the Defects Notification Period , for a total of 60 person-months. Key Responsibilities Provide overall day-to-day leadership, coordination, and quality control of the multidisciplinary supervision team. Assist the Client with administration of the civil works contracts and interpretation of technical specifications and contract documents. Review and approve contractor work programs, construction methodologies, working drawings, mobilization plans, and quality assurance systems. Coordinate design reviews, modifications, road realignments, and bridge-related design changes where required. Monitor construction progress, quality, contractor performance, safety, environmental compliance, and contractual obligations. Review contractor payment applications, variations, claims, extensions of time, and other contractual matters. Coordinate regular site and progress meetings with the Client, contractor, and supervision team. Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, completion, and other required project reports. Support implementation of environmental, social, resettlement, road safety, and traffic safety requirements. Inspect completed works and support project closeout and Defects Notification Period activities. Qualifications Qualifications & Experience Master’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering . Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required. Preferably at least 15 years of experience managing multidisciplinary projects and administering large civil works contracts. Preferably at least 10 years of international experience on similar highway/motorway projects as a Project Manager, Team Leader, or equivalent. Demonstrated experience working under FIDIC Conditions of Contract . Experience with FIDIC Red Book or FIDIC MDB Harmonized Conditions will be considered a strong advantage Prior regional experience is highly desired Interested candidates are invited to submit an updated CV highlighting relevant international highway construction supervision, Team Leader/Project Manager, FIDIC, and rigid pavement experience.
