Role Description The Technical Sales Engineer Trainee is a full-time, on-site role based in Tbilisi, Georgia. In this position, the trainee supports senior technical sales engineers in preparing offers, technical proposals, and product selections for ventilation projects. Daily tasks include assisting with customer inquiries, providing basic technical support, and helping to analyze project requirements and specifications. The trainee will collaborate with internal teams to gather technical information, maintain documentation, and update customer records. The role also involves learning Systemair’s product portfolio, calculation tools, and regulatory requirements to gradually take on more independent sales engineering responsibilities. Qualifications Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships using Technical Sales and Sales skills. Foundational knowledge in Sales Engineering to support project design, product selection, and solution proposals. Capacity to provide basic Technical Support, including understanding ventilation concepts and interpreting technical documentation. Strong Communication skills for interacting with customers, consultants, and internal teams in a clear and professional manner. Degree or ongoing studies in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, HVAC, or related field) or a comparable technical discipline. Interest in HVAC, ventilation systems, and indoor climate solutions, with willingness to learn company tools and regulations. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in standard office software; experience with engineering or calculation tools is an advantage. Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Tbilisi and manage tasks in a structured, organized manner. Knowledge of English and local language(s); additional language skills are considered beneficial.
