We're looking for a Unity Software Engineer to join our Core Team. About the Role As part of the Core Team, you'll build and maintain the technical foundation behind all of our educational applications. From shared systems and platform integrations to deployment pipelines, internal tools, and application stability, you'll help build the technology that enables our teams to deliver high-quality products efficiently and reliably. You'll collaborate closely with game developers, designers, artists, QA engineers, product managers, and backend engineers to develop scalable solutions used across multiple applications. What you’ll do: Design, develop, and maintain shared systems used across multiple products. Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable solutions in Unity (C#). Integrate and maintain platform services and third-party SDKs. Maintain application stability, performance, and production quality. Implement and maintain A/B testing, Remote Config, and feature flag systems. Create Unity Editor tools and workflow automation to improve team productivity. Improve build pipelines, deployment processes, and release reliability. Write clean, maintainable C# code following engineering best practices. Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions. Estimate tasks accurately, communicate progress proactively, and take ownership of technical solutions throughout their lifecycle. Collaborate effectively with game developers, designers, artists, QA engineers, product managers, and backend engineers. Continuously improve existing systems, development processes, and engineering standards. We expect from you: Strong professional experience with Unity and C#. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, software architecture, and common design patterns. Experience building reusable, scalable, and maintainable software systems. Experience integrating third-party SDKs and platform services. Experience shipping and maintaining production applications for iOS and Android. Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code. Experience with Plastic SCM, Git, or similar version control systems. Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools. Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset. Passion for continuous learning and improving engineering practices. Nice to have: Experience developing Unity Editor tools and custom workflows. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build automation. Experience with Unity Addressables or asset management workflows. Experience integrating services such as Firebase, Analytics, Remote Config, In-App Purchases, Push Notifications, or Crash Reporting. Experience profiling and optimizing large Unity applications. Experience maintaining live production applications. Familiarity with automated testing practices.
