Job Description Please Note: While this is a hybrid telework role, onsite presence is required 2X per week at one of the following locations: Milwaukee, WI; Orlando, FL, Marietta, GA; Stratford, CT; or Fort Worth, TX. For more than 40 years, Derco, A Lockheed Martin Company, has provided logistics and technical support for fixed-wing and rotary aircraft. We are an industry leader, offering a suite of fleet management solutions, including spares distribution, logistics solutions, repair and overhaul services and technical solutions. THE WORK Proposal & Contract Management Ensures compliance with LM and government policies/regulations for complete and accurate proposals. Pulls Awards from DIBBs and cross checks contracts with proposals to insure accuracy. Prepares and reviews proposals/awards to grow the business. Develops and applies criteria to decide on solicitations for which we will draft a proposal to positively affect win rate and minimize bid & proposal costs. Evaluates inquiries to determine whether solicitations will result in positive cash flow by researching in EMALL, Haystack, AMSC codes and reviewing purchase history for previous awards and tooling requirements. Reviews proposals for exceptions, deviations, and caveats to minimize risk. Prepares, processes, and submits proposals to the customer via DLAs Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS). Customer & Stakeholder Coordination Routinely communicates and coordinates with customers to ensure their requirements are met. Resolves issues, expedites delivery, and translates requirements into actions. Coordinates with internal LM functions (Sourcing, Contracts, and QA) to ensure perfect order fulfillment and accomplishment of program objectives. Coordinates with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Suppliers, Customers, and Finance to ensure timely delivery and acceptance of orders. Logistics & Fulfillment Operations Enters DD250’s into Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) corrects errors noted in WAWF, checks the Alert Que to ensure action completion, sends accepted receiving reports to suppliers for shipping, and closes DD250’s to ensure timely billing. Requests Military Shipping Labels/BOL’s/Commercial Invoices/Packing Ships/Shipping Instructs (etc.) through DCMA SIR in Etools and VSM for Foreign Military Shipments. Confirms customer & supplier payments. Participates in the development of short, medium, and long-range program plans, objectives, and goals. You possess the communication skills and technical proficiency needed to coordinate complex requirements between internal teams and external stakeholders. A level 2 employee is an early-career professional and typically has 1+ years of related experience.
