Job Description About the Role We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to assume the role of Leader of the Workplace Systems Engineers Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of infrastructure administration, ensuring the continuous availability, security, and performance of WSE systems. This position requires demonstrated leadership capabilities, deep technical expertise, and the ability to guide complex operational and strategic initiatives within the WSE domain. Key Responsibilities Provide Strategic and Operational leadership, Define and Execute the Vision and Strategy aligned with Global IT objectives Ensure high availability, stability, performance, and reliability of related systems Ensure high-quality IT services that enable productivity and collaboration Plan, coordinate, and execute infrastructure upgrades, modernization projects, and technology migrations. Monitor team performance, set operational KPIs, and ensure adherence to service-level expectations Collaborate with management and other departments to align IT strategy with business needs Qualifications The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge in the following areas: Endpoint Security & Protection Antivirus and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) solutions Application Control platforms Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions Microsoft Cloud & Device Management Microsoft Intune Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) Core Infrastructure Services Active Directory (AD) administration Domain Name System (DNS) management Certificate Authority (CA) Virtualization & Remote Access Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies Terminal Server (Remote Desktop Services) environments Technical proficiency in server administration (Windows/Linux), Active Directory, networking technologies, virtualization platforms (e.g. VMware), and major cloud environments (Azure/AWS). Proven experience leading technical teams and taking ownership of delivery and operational outcomes. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Infrastructure, Information Security, and Business stakeholders. Experience defining, tracking, and improving SLAs, KPIs, and service reliability metrics. 7+ years in IT operations, infrastructure, or digital workplace 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn and work with AI tools and modern technologies Skills & Competencies Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making and stakeholder management skills Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clear incident and status communication. Education & Certifications Master’s degree in information technology / IT Management, Computer Science, or related disciplines AWS Certified Solutions Architect: Associate / Professional Relevant professional certifications such as Microsoft -MCSA/MCSE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware, or cloud certifications such as Azure/AWS Microsoft certifications (Azure Administrator/Architect, M365 Expert, Security Engineer, etc.) preferred Additional Information TBC processes the personal data of the candidate in order to determine the suitability of the candidate for the vacancy, in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection.
