Job description

We are looking for a senior, hands-on Head of Project Development & Delivery to lead the on-the-ground execution of its wind energy project in Georgia . This is a key role for a practical, commercially minded and well-organized professional who can coordinate across government bodies, local authorities, technical consultants, designers, contractors, suppliers and project partners. Key responsibilities will include: Leading day-to-day project development and delivery coordination in Georgia Managing communication with ministries, GSE, GNERC, municipalities, local governments, land authorities, environmental bodies and other public institutions Coordinating permitting, grid connection, land access, road access, environmental studies and local stakeholder matters Selecting and managing designers, engineering consultants, ESIA advisers, EPC/ESP contractors, legal advisers, logistics providers and other suppliers Reviewing and challenging technical proposals, BoQs, budgets, timelines and supplier deliverables Supporting negotiations with contractors, consultants and suppliers Tracking project milestones, risks, documentation, budgets and deadlines Reporting regularly to shareholders, partners and other project stakeholders Visiting the project site and coordinating local implementation matters as required The ideal candidate should have: Strong experience in energy, infrastructure, construction, transmission/grid, roads, industrial projects or large-scale project delivery Proven ability to manage government and public-sector stakeholders in Georgia Experience managing technical consultants, designers, contractors and suppliers Strong project-management and coordination skills Commercial mindset and ability to control scope, cost, quality and timing Technical literacy sufficient to understand and challenge engineering, design, permitting and construction-related workstreams Excellent communication skills in Georgian and English Practical, hands-on approach and strong discipline in follow-up Willingness to travel to project locations when needed Experience in renewable energy, grid infrastructure, substations, transmission lines, road infrastructure or major construction projects would be a strong advantage. We are looking for a person who can make things happen on the ground — someone who combines project execution, government coordination, supplier management and practical problem-solving.
