Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Social Media Marketing (SMM) Manager at Velvetyweb. The SMM Manager will plan, create, and schedule social media content across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with each client’s brand voice and marketing objectives. Daily responsibilities include monitoring engagement, responding to comments and messages, and optimizing content based on performance analytics. The role also involves coordinating small campaigns, collaborating with internal and client stakeholders, and preparing regular reports on social media metrics and trends. The SMM Manager will contribute ideas for improving reach, conversion, and community building while maintaining a consistent posting schedule. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for interpreting social media metrics, tracking campaign performance, and making data-informed recommendations. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to create clear messaging, interact with online communities, and collaborate effectively with clients and team members. Candidates should possess Marketing experience, including social media strategy, audience targeting, and campaign planning across major platforms. Candidates should possess foundational Sales skills to support lead generation, nurture online inquiries, and align social content with conversion goals. Candidates should possess Project Management abilities to prioritize tasks, manage content calendars, and meet deadlines across multiple client accounts. Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X), scheduling tools, and basic graphic or video editing is beneficial. Strong written English skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are required. Relevant education or certifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, are an advantage. Bilingual Spanish + English
