Job description

Southeast Toyota’s Parts Distribution Center supports dealerships in SET’s operating area of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and North Carolina and distributes over $500 million in parts and accessories annually.   The Full Time Warehouse Associate performs a variety of warehouse functions, including but not limited to the following functions at our Norcross Parts Distribution Center (PDC): picking parts from any warehouse zone, packing and securing parts for shipment to dealers, completion of all appropriate paperwork, operate multiple types of powered industrial equipment, special projects as assigned and Inventory Maintenance activities. This position will be scheduled for 40 hours per week under one of these schedules Sunday - Thursday - 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm Monday-Friday 5:30 am-2:00 pm Monday - Friday - 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm Responsibilities:  Use of PIVs (Powered Industrial Vehicles) such as tuggers, forklifts, pallet jacks or lift machines to perform assigned tasks. Use of safety equipment such as seat belt or fall protection body harness with lanyard is required.  Associates are responsible for the efficient completion of their assigned work and are also expected to interact professionally with others in a team-oriented environment.   Read and retain numbers and complete forms/paperwork accurately & legibly.  Meet safety, individual production, and quality performance objectives in a fast-paced environment. Work with minimum supervision & follow through on assignments. Qualifications Qualified candidates will be safety-minded team players, flexible to work additional hours, dependable and report to work on time and have a solid demonstration of their commitment to our Core Values.   Warehousing or Manufacturing type experience preferred   Previous automotive parts experience helpful, but not required   Good short-term memory of number series required  Physical requirements include able to lift up to 70 pounds, walk for long periods of time, reach above head and shoulders, bend, squat, push, pull, grasp, and climb stairs Attend and pass a Hazardous Materials Handling/Transportation class   Qualified to operate, pass testing and maintain certification on power equipment (including but not limited to: Forklifts, order pickers, tuggers, stackers)   Valid driver's license required, prior experience with powered industrial equipment is preferred.      This job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of JM Family.
