Head of Strategic Advisory & Research

The Head of Strategic Advisory & Research is responsible for leading the firm's advisory and research practice, delivering high-quality strategic consulting services across real estate, hospitality, mixed-use developments, urban planning, investment, and public sector projects. The role combines business development, client relationship management, project leadership, team management, and thought leadership to strengthen the firm's market position and expand its advisory capabilities. Key Responsibilities •⁠ ⁠Lead and oversee strategic advisory assignments for developers, investors, financial institutions, corporate occupiers, government entities, and international organisations. •⁠ ⁠Advise clients on market entry strategies, development concepts, highest and best use, feasibility studies, investment strategies, asset repositioning, and portfolio optimisation. •⁠ ⁠Develop tailored recommendations supported by quantitative and qualitative analysis. •⁠ ⁠Ensure the delivery of commercially sound, data-driven, and actionable advisory solutions. Research & Market Intelligence •⁠ ⁠Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of real estate market data. •⁠ ⁠Produce market reports, sector analyses, benchmarking studies, and investment outlooks. •⁠ ⁠Develop research methodologies and maintain proprietary market databases. •⁠ ⁠Monitor macroeconomic trends, regulatory developments, and investment activity affectng the real estate market. Project Leadership •⁠ ⁠Manage multiple advisory engagements from proposal through project completion. •⁠ ⁠Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. •⁠ ⁠Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including valuation, capital markets, project management, and external consultants.•⁠ ⁠Review all deliverables before submission to clients. Team Leadership •⁠ ⁠Lead, mentor, and develop the Strategic Advisory & Research team. •⁠ ⁠Allocate resources and manage workloads across projects. •⁠ ⁠Establish quality control procedures and best practices. •⁠ ⁠Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture. Thought Leadership •⁠ ⁠Publish market insights, research papers, and industry commentary. •⁠ ⁠Present market trends to clients, investors, and public forums. •⁠ ⁠Strengthen the firm's reputation as a market leader in real estate advisory. Qualificatons •⁠ ⁠Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field. •⁠ ⁠Master's degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) is preferred. •⁠ ⁠Professional qualifications (MRICS, CFA, PMP, or similar) are considered an advantage. Experience •⁠ ⁠3–5+ years of experience in real estate advisory, consulting, research, investment, valuation, or strategy. •⁠ ⁠Proven experience leading complex consulting assignments. •⁠ ⁠Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management. •⁠ ⁠Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
