We have been operating since 2006 and are present in 11 countries across Eastern Europe and Asia. We are developing a data center solutions practice across the countries where Elcore operates. We are looking for a pre-sales engineer who will become the technical face of this practice: designing solutions, running enablement events for partners, and providing technical support throughout the sales cycle. Prior experience with a specific vendor is not required — what matters is data center design and deployment experience on any platform. The necessary vendor-specific certifications will be supported by the company. Reporting and scope Dual reporting: administratively — to the Director of Elcore Georgia; functionally — to the holding’s central engineering team, with whom close collaboration is expected (common design standards, knowledge sharing, joint support on major projects). The scope covers several countries where Elcore operates — the role involves business travel and remote engagement with partners and customers across the region. Key responsibilities Partner enablement and training Run technical workshops, seminars, and training sessions for partner engineers in the assigned countries; organise partner certification tracks jointly with vendors; prepare training materials: technical presentations, demo scenarios, playbooks; organise and technically populate pre-sales events and roadshows. Solution design and architecture Design tailored data center solutions for specific customers: compute, storage, networking; prepare BoMs (Bill of Materials), technical specifications, and tender responses; develop and adapt technical requirements jointly with the partner and end customer; size solutions, perform capacity and performance calculations, deliver HLD and LLD designs. PoC and demonstrations Prepare and run Proof-of-Concept engagements for priority customers; maintain demo environments and test infrastructure; deliver solution demonstrations for both technical and business audiences. Technical deal support Defend the proposed architecture in front of the technical customer — workshops, technical meetings, handling objections; work side by side with the commercial teams and BDMs on priority projects; register projects in vendor portals from the technical side. Vendor and holding engineering collaboration Maintain up-to-date technical competencies and certifications for the portfolio; collaborate closely with the holding’s central engineering team: common standards, knowledge sharing, joint expertise on major projects; absorb technical updates from vendors and transfer this knowledge to local teams and partners; participate in vendor events, technical webinars, and trainings. KPIs for the role number of trained and certified engineers at partner companies; number of workshops and pre-sales events delivered; number and quality of PoCs prepared; volume of technically supported pipeline (without personal responsibility for margin). What we are looking for 3+ years of experience designing or deploying data center infrastructure on the integrator, distributor, or vendor side; strong engineering background across at least two of the three areas: server infrastructure (x86), storage (SAN/NAS, all-flash, object storage), data center networking (L2/L3, routing, fabrics, SDN); hands-on experience with enterprise-class storage (on any vendor platform); understanding of adjacent technologies: virtualisation (VMware, KVM), operating systems (Linux, Windows Server), backup, basics of cybersecurity; experience producing technical documents: BoMs, HLD/LLD, tender responses; public speaking experience — delivering technical presentations, workshops, training; readiness for business travel across Elcore countries; fluent Russian; English at B2 or higher (technical documentation, vendor trainings, regional work); Georgian is a plus. Nice to have vendor certifications at professional / expert level in servers, storage, and data center networking; experience running certification and enablement programs for partners; experience on projects across several countries in the region; experience working with Georgian system integrators and enterprise customers (banks, telco, public sector). What we offer a comfortable and friendly working environment; challenging projects and opportunities to grow your skills; official employment and on-time salary payments; hybrid or fully remote work format; Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00–18:00, with a one-hour break; a comfortable workplace in the office; company-funded vendor trainings and certifications; our internal “Digital Thank You” loyalty program — a chance to be recognised and travel with colleagues; one additional day off per year added to your vacation; corporate events.
