Senior SEO Specialist 🚀 Taxes for Expats (TFX) is looking for a strategic, hands-on Senior SEO Specialist to help scale our organic growth across traditional SEO and AI-driven search ( AEO ). You’ll own SEO initiatives end-to-end — from research and planning to execution, optimization, and performance analysis — working closely with our SEO, content, marketing, product, and leadership teams. We help thousands of U.S. citizens and green card holders living abroad — from standard annual filings to complex multi-year compliance cases. WHAT YOU’LL DO 🔹 Execute on-page SEO, content updates, and internal linking improvements to increase rankings, traffic, and conversions 🔹 Create high-quality SEO briefs aligned with search intent, semantic depth, internal linking, and clear CTA logic 🔹 Collaborate with copywriters and review content performance to identify optimization opportunities 🔹 Identify backlink opportunities, manage outreach campaigns, build partnerships, and improve link-building processes 🔹 Support international SEO growth through performance analysis, localization opportunities, and strategy testing 🔹 Improve brand visibility across AI-driven platforms such as ChatGPT and Perplexity 🔹 Monitor key AEO metrics and identify opportunities to increase presence in AI-generated answers 🔹 Use AI tools to enhance research, content creation, analysis, outreach, and process optimization 🔹 Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflow efficiency 🔹 Support technical SEO initiatives, including site health, indexing, crawling, and issue identification 🔹 Collaborate with developers and the product team to resolve technical SEO issues 🔹 Track SEO and AEO performance, analyze rankings, traffic, and conversions, and provide actionable recommendations 🔹 Work closely with the SEO Manager, SEO team, content team, and broader marketing team to prioritize and execute high-impact initiatives WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR ✅ 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience ✅ Proven success in the U.S. market , supported by measurable case studies ✅ Experience with AEO and AI search optimization ✅ Practical experience using AI tools for research, content creation, analysis, marketing, and process optimization ✅ Ability to build efficient AI-powered workflows and apply AI in day-to-day work ✅ Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush , or similar SEO tools ✅ Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines ✅ English proficiency at B2+ level , with confident writing and communication skills YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU ARE ⚡ Proactive — you take initiative and drive tasks to completion without constant supervision 📊 Data-driven — you use data, insights, and AI to uncover opportunities and improve results 🎯 Execution-focused — you prioritize high-impact actions, move quickly, and iterate based on learnings 🤝 Collaborative — you communicate clearly and work effectively across teams Interested in joining TFX?
